The Children’s Room welcomes Polynesian Dancer Lola Motta on Wednesday, June 28 at 10:00 am. Lola will perform a variety of dance styles from Polynesia, with an explanation about the music, props, and costuming.
This 45-minute interactive program is part of the 2017 Summer Reading Program “BUILD A BETTER WORLD.” The 2017 Summer Reading Program is made possible through funding from the Friends of the Cumberland Public Library, the Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
This interactive dance show is for children ages 5-12. Tickets will be available in the Children’s Room starting Monday, June 19 with a nominal fee of 50¢ for individual admission.
