The Library is looking for artists to show their work in the Library’s Hayden Art Gallery in the main hallway on the second floor.
Selected artists will have the opportunity to share their work with library visitors for a period of one month and can host an Artist Meet & Greet reception on a Saturday morning or afternoon or on a weeknight evening of their choice as an art show event. The Library will provide coffee, tea, and water, and the artist can provide whatever additional refreshments he or she would like. Any art medium will be considered as long as the pieces can be hung using the library’s established hanging art system.
Work by interested artists will be reviewed for possible inclusion on a first received/first reviewed basis. There are a limited number of openings and the Library reserves all rights to make a final decision determining which artists will receive gallery space and exhibition dates.
Those interested in sharing their work as part of the Library’s monthly showings can contact Aaron Coutu at 333-2552 x128 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
