Paws and Tales Reading Program Series

Paws and Tales Reading Program at the Cumberland Public Library! Come to the library, grab a book, curl up with a dog and read! Register for a Paws and Tales reading session at the Cumberland Public Library. By reading to a calm and friendly dog children will enhance their love of reading. The Children’s Room is offering this program run by Pet Assisted Therapists Anne Tremblay, with Therapy Dog “Fame” and Deb Wesolowski, with Therapy Dog “Holly”. Both are credentialed by The Windwalker Professional Pet Assisted Therapy Coalition. Space is limited! Children in Grades K – 3 may sign up for one 20 minute session per week, for a 3 week series. Sessions will be held Tuesdays, January 11 – January 25 and February 1- February 15 2010 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Registration begins Thursday, December 30th. Register early to get your preferred times and dates.
Please bring your library card with you when registering.
