This workshop takes place over 2 Wednesday afternoons: October 20th & 27th. All artistic levels are welcome to join.

Explore the interesting effect that salt has on watercolor paint and create a painting of soft rounded beach rocks. A variety of principles and techniques to achieve realistic or abstract results will be taught; individual style will be encouraged. If you have never picked up a paintbrush before, you will be amazed at the results!

Germaine Gerie Krobath, a professional artist and a graduate in art education from SUNY at New Paltz., has been teaching privately since 1981. She is an accomplished artist in a variety of media, including oils, acrylics, watercolor, ink and pastels. Her style ranges from very detailed renderings to pieces with the simplest line but greatest understanding of form and beauty.

Fee: $30.00 for one session of 2 classes, payable upon advance registration. Cash or check only. Here’s Germaine’s Web site…

Location: Meeting Room 3
