The Cumberland Public Library is inviting young artists, ages 6-8, to participate in a Mini Mural Program. Participants will join together to an ocean scene on two canvasses. This painting program will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Registration begins on Saturday, June 26, 2010. The completed murals will be on display in the Children’s Room during the 2010 summer reading program: Make a Splash Read! Supplies have been generously provided by the Friends of the Cumberland Public Library. Space is limited.
Children should wear appropriate clothing for making art. Please bring your library card with you when registering.
Preference will be given to children who reside in Cumberland. For more information, please call the Children’s Room at 333-2552 X3.
