Saturday, May 8th / 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
This group is for writers:
* who have writer’s block
* who are looking to test their creative limits
* who are just beginning
* who have an eye towards publication
* who stopped writing, but want to start again and
* who are willing to share their work with up to 9 other writers.
We will also discuss handouts of published work. All genres are welcome, but the workshop leader has the most experience with poetry. More workshops will be held on the 2nd Saturday of the month in June and July (June 12th and July 10th).
Michael Turner has a MFA in Creative Writing from Rutgers University-Newark. His poems appear in Barrelhouse and he is an editor of Growler, an online publication, which reviews first books of poetry and fiction, where his reviews also appear.
