Farm to Plate-Summer Harvest: Cooking Fresh Food with Kids!
It’s summertime and the food is fresh and tasty! Join us at the Cumberland Public Library for our ongoing Farm to Plate cooking program for children ages 4-12. Stop by the Children’s Room on Tuesday, July 22, from 4-5 pm where we will be cooking up some healthy summer treats that are home made with fresh air and warm sunshine! There will be a summer themed story and children will make some great snacks to eat. We will also have some special guests from Franklin Farm in Cumberland who will tell us about the good work they do there, and we’ll discuss the many nutritious vegetables they grow. Come see how easy it is to eat healthy food that tastes good too!
This is a drop in program, no registration is required.
