Back by popular demand… Project CHICK!  Children ages 3-12 are invited to join us for this special event in the Community Room.  A farm educator from Casey Farm in Saunderstown will present a slide show about how chickens are raised at the farm. The children will learn about the life cycle of chickens, see a display of various bird eggs – from hummingbird to ostrich, touch a live hen and observe her chicks.  The Children’s Room will receive all supplies needed to incubate a clutch of eggs.  Visitors can keep an eye on the incubator and wonder for 21 days until our chicks hatch.  The baby chicks will be returned to Casey Farm on Friday, April 25th.  This program features live animals.

Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning Saturday, March 15, 2014 in the Children’s Room.
