The Cumberland Public Library is pleased to announce it is planning to hold a Passport Day on Saturday, March 29.  U.S. citizens planning international travel may apply for their passports at the library between 1:00 and 4:00 pm.

Passport agents will be at the library during those hours to process applications for individuals and families, and answer any questions about the passport process.  They will also be able to take passport photos for a fee of $10.

Applicants need to bring proof of citizenship, a valid photo ID (for adults), and a personal check or money order.  Detailed information on the documents required can be found at www.cumberlandlibrary.org or at the Cumberland Public Library, located at 1464 Diamond Hill Rd. in Cumberland.  The Department of State’s website also offers complete information about the passport application process:  www.travel.state.gov.
