Are you between the ages of 6 and 12 like to doodle?
Do you enjoy drawing your favorite TV or book characters?
Have you created your own cartoons and want to share them with other kids?
Or are you just looking for a place to hang out to watch various cartoons such as
Marvel Superheros, Pokemon, Disney and Ninjago?

The Cumberland Library is beginning a new Tuesday evening program called The Cartooning Sketch Workshop Series. This is a drop in (no registration required) workshop series featuring “how to draw books” and video clips of past and present popular cartoons to inspire and teach participants to create and sketch their favorite characters.

These hour long workshops will offer materials to participants such as professional artist graphite pencils, watercolor pencils and oil pastels. Please bring your own sketchbook each week!

This series begins Tuesday, October 23rd and runs through December 11, 2012  from 6-7pm.
The workshop meets in the Cumberland Library Children’s Program Room.

Location: Children’s Room
