The four-week session takes place over 4 Wednesday afteroons: September 26, October 3, 10 & 17. You can alternately choose to come on one or more of the dates listed.
All artistic levels are welcome to join. Germaine Gerie will set-up a still life from which students will create drawings and paintings. You will have the choice of working with Acrylic, Oil or Watercolor paints. All aspects of painting and a variety of painting techniques will be taught and demonstrated. You’ll learn about composition, color theory, depth and perspective. Germaine encourages individual style: technique is taught but style is a personal development. If you have never picked up a paintbrush before, you will be amazed at the results!
Minimum: 3; Maximum 20.
In-person advance registration at the Reference Desk by the day before the classes start, at the latest, is required.
Fee: $60.00 for one session of 4 classes or $15.00 per class.
