Students will learn how to use watercolor paint, including the basics of setting up your palette and mixing primary colors into secondary and tertiary colors. A variety of techniques will be explored. This class will concentrate on basic painting techniques. If you have ever wanted to explore with water paint this is the class for you, it will be a fun and relaxing experience.
Germaine Krobath, a professional artist and a graduate in art education from SUNY at New Paltz, has been teaching privately since 1981. She is an accomplished artist in a variety of media, including oils, acrylics, watercolor, ink and pastels. Her style ranges from very detailed renderings to pieces with the simplest line but greatest understanding of form and beauty.
Advance in-person registration is required.
Fee: $30, payable upon registration.
