Children ages 8-12 are invited to register for an Altered Art program at the Cumberland Public Library. Participants will recycle an old book by cutting, gluing and adding ribbon, words, pictures, etc. to make their very own art scrapbook. Each child will be provided with an old book and materials. Children may bring small items from home to add to their creation. This program will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 4:00 p.m. Registration begins Saturday, February 11, 2012 in the Children’s Room. Please bring your library card when registering. Preference will be given to children who reside in Cumberland.
