In this class students will learn the basics of watercolor painting: from setting up a palette, mixing colors and controlling the paint, to letting the watercolor do “it’s thing.” We will observe the fall colors on a variety of leaves from local trees and plants and use watercolor to recreate them in a painting.
A variety of techniques will be taught. If you have ever wanted to explore with water paint this is the class for you. It will be fun and relaxed. If you have already painted, this is a great refresher class!
Fee: $18, payable upon in-person registration.
Minimum: 3; Maximum: 20.
A material sheet is available at the Reference Desk.
